The Gospel
God Loves All Men

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God’s love extends to all men. Race, wealth, status, position do nothing to sway God’s love. There is nothing that can be done that would cause God to cease from loving us (Romans 8:38-39).

All Men Are Sinners

Romans 3:10, 13 says, “As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no not one.’ For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” All men are sinners by birth, by nature and by choice. There is not a person living or who has ever lived that has escaped the awful curse of sin. Every person at some time or another has committed a sin against God. The truth is, our own sin condemns us before God.

Sin Must Be Paid For

Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death…” The Bible teaches us that our sin requires a price that must be paid. The problem is that there is no amount of good works or deeds that we can do to pay the price for our sins (Isaiah 64:6). Because of this there is no way that any person on this earth can get to heaven on account of their own goodness.

Christ Paid for Our Sin on the Cross

Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Christ paid the price for our salvation by going to the cross and dying in our place. He sacrificially gave all so that we might have the opportunity for life. We owe a debt that we cannot pay, and He paid a debt that He did not owe. This is how God has demonstrated (commendeth) His love for us. Christ’s payment on the cross was love in action.

You Must Pray and Personally Receive Christ as Your Savior

Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” You can substitute your name in the place of whosoever if you would choose to receive Christ as your Savior. The gift of salvation is freely offered to all mankind. Anyone can pray and anyone can receive Christ, regardless of their past or history. God is powerful enough to save every sinner if we only accept Him. Will you pray and receive Christ as your Savior?

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I know that my sin separates me from you and God. I know that you paid the price for my sin on the cross. I repent of my sin and ask you to save me, and take me to heaven when I die. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
